Bare Bones Software releases Yojimbo 4.0 using Wasabi Sync cloud synchronization

For immediate release.

Gilbert, Arizona - Wasabi World Wide Heavy Industries is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Bare Bones Software, and that it will be providing cloud synchronization via its Wasabi Sync service to version 4.0 of the popular Mac OS X information organization application, Yojimbo.

Wasabi Sync delivers on the promise of record-based synchronization of Core Data based applications. Wasabi Sync monitors an application's Core Data persistent store and watches for when the application makes changes to it. When changes occur, Wasabi Sync serializes the changes and sends them securely over the cloud to the Wasabi Sync servers. Those changes are then propagated to the user’s other devices and written to their respective persistent stores.

Using the Wasabi Sync SDK, users’ Core Data persistent stores are silently and transparently kept in sync across multiple devices and even across multiple platforms.

Jiva DeVoe, Founder of Wasabi World Wide Heavy Industries and Chief Architect of Wasabi Sync said, "We are grateful to have the opportunity to provide this service to Bare Bones Software. Yojimbo is an outstanding example of the kind of app that truly benefits from transparent cloud synchronization. Having all of your data available on all of your devices is what the promise of the cloud is all about. We're excited to be a part of Bare Bones' continued success."

"Wasabi Sync is an excellent solution for the data synchronization needs of Yojimbo 4.0," said Rich Siegel, founder and CEO of Bare Bones Software, Inc. "Wasabi World Wide Heavy Industries has been terrific to work with, and we recommend them for consideration by anyone who needs a Core Data sync service."

The Wasabi Sync team brings together years of experience in working on mobile synchronization technology for a wide variety of mobile platforms. Recently, that technology has been developed and deployed in numerous shipping iOS and Mac apps and we are thrilled to add Bare Bones to the growing list of developers utilizing our platform.
